Nirjala Ekadasi Chat - A Relative Success!

12:00:00 AM By Kevala-Bhakti Dasa (Keshav) , No comments

Many Hare Krishna devotees in Toronto observed Nirjala Ekadasi on Wednesday, June 3rd!  This meant fasting from all food, including even water!  To help devotees stay encouraged in their day-long fasting, the ISKCON Toronto blog had a live chat window up and running all day so that devotees could chat with each other and spiritually encourage each other during their fasts.

The chat room wasn't exactly set ablaze with amazing discussions, but it still proved to be a nice way for devotees to stay in touch with each other over the course of the special Ekadasi.  We are also very happy to announce that almost 200 people logged on to our blog just yesterday alone!!!

Based on the relative success, we may decide to have another chat session on the next special occasion!  We would love to hear comments with your thoughts and feedback!
