New site for the Festival of India (Ratha-Yatra) 2009

Due to the on-going City of Toronto strike, ferry service to Centre Island is cancelled. As such, there has been a need to look for an alternative site for the Festival of India and the festival committee is pleased to announce that a backup site has been secured.

The new festival site is located at the foot of Yonge Street just South of Queen's Quay. A map of this new site is shown below with the site in blue and the Ratha-Yatra route in green.
Please see for more detials about the festival!

I'd like to commend the Rathayatra Festival Committee on their hard work in securing a back-up site for the festival, I am sure it was quite a task. Jaganatha is always playing tricks on us but nonetheless his devotees always see these tricks as mercy.

Jaya Jaganatha!

Hare Krishna; PAMHO AGTSP. Do you know if this new location includes discounted parking or any parking options for that matter?

Parking is available right in front of the festival site in the VINCI Park lot (blue and white) although there are no special festival parking rates.
