Celebrating Canada Day - the Hare Krishna Style!

8:12:00 PM By RG

Excitement does not describe the emotion being felt as we get closer to our HUGE festival, Festival of India (Ratha-Yatra)! As it is the long Canada Day weekend, we thought what better way to celebrate both festivals than going out on harinama (outdoor chanting and dancing)?

This is also an opportunity to invite EVERYONE to the upcoming 40th Festival of India by distributing cards, singing and lots of dancing!

Come join us as we all head out to the streets of downtown and share the sweet sounds of kirtan with everyone as a perfect gift for Canada day!

We will be meeting at the temple by 12PM sharp on Monday, July 2 2012, head out to Yonge-Dundas Square by transit and head back to the temple by 3PM.

Check out the facebook event for more information here.

So please join us in your best, colourful attire as we bring the Festival of India to the streets of Toronto!
